As The Season Ends....

As the season ends for this athletic year, RMS would like to thank the many student-athletes, coaches, parents, ticket volunteers, and administration for your support this year in athletics.  Without your support and time, we could not be as successful as we have been over an extended period of time like we have been.  Please enjoy a safe and happy summer.  Check back soon for updates regarding summer volleyball conditioning and tryout schedules.

Postseason Playoffs

As the season wraps up, please be reminded that postseason playoffs begin on Saturday, April 25 for baseball and softball if our teams qualify.  Playoffs begin on Wednesday, April 29 for girls and boys soccer if our teams qualify.

Next week could be a very busy week for us in the playoffs.  Please keep your schedules open and flexible due to possible weather.

Thank You Riverside Community

Community Fest 2015 was a great success.  Many members of our local community came out to support Model UN, Media and Visual Arts, and our athletic teams as we hosted Northwood Middle School.  Thank you so much for your support.  Go Royals!

Two RMS Basketball Players Named to All Star Team

Congratulations to Carl Kahaleh and Colette Romp for being named to the Greenville County School District All-Star Basketball Team.

They will be honored during halftime of the Palmetto Athletic Association Senior Showcase basketball game at Hillcrest High School this Friday night.

Field Upgrades Complete

Next time you are on campus, be sure to check out the new upgrades to our Baseball and Softball Fields.  New breakaway bases have been installed for the safety and protection of the players.  Also, the new batting cage for both softball and baseball has been completed this week and is now ready for use. Thank you to the students and community for helping us fund these projects through the dodgeball fundraisers.  Go Royals!

Home School or Charter School Students

Those home school and charter school students wishing to tryout for athletics at Riverside Middle School must be zoned to attend RMS.  In addition, the complete home school or charter school application packet must be submitted prior to tryouts as well as the full amount of athletic insurance ($32).  The applications may be found under the Athletic Forms tab on the left side of the webpage.
