Community Fest 2015 was a great success. Many members of our local community came out to support Model UN, Media and Visual Arts, and our athletic teams as we hosted Northwood Middle School. Thank you so much for your support. Go Royals!

Anyone interested in trying out for the Riverside High School Cheerleading program will need to attend an informational interest meeting on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 4:30pm in the RHS cafeteria.
*If you plan to tryout, you must attend the meeting.
Riverside Middle School will host its annual Community Spirit Night on Thursday, March 26 from 5-7:30 PM. Local restaurants will have food available for purchase, and you can learn more about local community services. All spring sports teams will be playing against rival Northwood Middle School, the Model United Nations will present its Festival of Nations, and Media, Visual Arts, and Design classes will be presenting their projects.
Baseball, Softball, and Soccer all began their seasons tonight. Teams went 3-1 on the night. Check out the scores and updates on each team's webpage.
Congratulations to Carl Kahaleh and Colette Romp for being named to the Greenville County School District All-Star Basketball Team.
They will be honored during halftime of the Palmetto Athletic Association Senior Showcase basketball game at Hillcrest High School this Friday night.
Next time you are on campus, be sure to check out the new upgrades to our Baseball and Softball Fields. New breakaway bases have been installed for the safety and protection of the players. Also, the new batting cage for both softball and baseball has been completed this week and is now ready for use. Thank you to the students and community for helping us fund these projects through the dodgeball fundraisers. Go Royals!
Congratulations to our girls soccer team for winning the Lakeview Preseason Invitational Tournament this weekend with a perfect 3-0 record. The boys soccer team secured 2nd place with a 2-1 record on the weekend. Great job both teams.
In the event of inclement weather and cancellations of the afternoon or entire school day occur, all athletic activities will also be cancelled.
Riverside boys basketball take out the #3 seed Tanglewood in a Monday night showdown in the second round of the Greenville County Playoffs. RMS advances to play Greer Thursday night at Greer. Come out and show your support and school sprit at 5:30.
RMS girls defeat Northwood on Saturday to advance to the next round on Monday at Blue Ridge!
RMS boys go on the road and defeat Northwest to avenge a regular season loss and advance to play Tanglewood in the second round on Monday at Tanglewood!
Those home school and charter school students wishing to tryout for athletics at Riverside Middle School must be zoned to attend RMS. In addition, the complete home school or charter school application packet must be submitted prior to tryouts as well as the full amount of athletic insurance ($32). The applications may be found under the Athletic Forms tab on the left side of the webpage.
Riverside Boys and Girls Soccer will participate in the Lakeview Invitational Preseason Soccer Tournament on February 27-28. Great opportunity to play under the lights at the KROC Center in downtown Greenville. See the schedule for additional locations and game times.
